Draft pending legal review. This text describes how the platform currently works and will be finalised before commercial launch.
What we collect
Account details (email, display name, optional phone and city), orders and tickets, check-in times, community posts and reports, Tribe Leader applications and payout bank details (Tribe Leaders only).
We do not receive or store your card details — payments are processed by Paystack.
Referral tracking
When you open a Tribe Leader link we set a first-party cookie (ot_ref) for up to 7 days so the right leader is credited if you buy. It contains a signed reference to the click, not your personal details. We store a salted, non-reversible fingerprint of your IP address for fraud prevention, not your raw IP.
How we use it
To run your account, process orders, issue and validate tickets, credit Tribe Leaders, keep the community safe, prevent fraud and, if you opt in, send event news.
Who sees it
Staff see only what their role needs (for example, check-in staff see a ticket's tier and first name). Tribe Leaders never see buyers' names, contact or payment details. We share data with service providers (payment, email, hosting) to run the service.
Your choices
You can update your profile and marketing preferences, request a copy of your data, or request deletion from your account page. Some order records must be kept for accounting and legal reasons.
